    Who is Gregg Russell

    Gregg Russell is a song writer, singer, performer, actor and entertainer from South Carolina. He has been writing and performing children's music for over 25 years. His credits include TV specials for the USA Network, and writing and performing original music for both CBS and NBC. He's best known for his evening performances under the old oak tree in Harbour Town where he has delighted over 3 million fans, young and old alike for the past 25 seasons.

    One of his early ventures was the music for the SCETV series "Dooley and Pals". Along with Dennis Scott, Gregg wrote the music for the children's series. His CD "Stop, Look and Listen" has many of the tunes from the series.

    Gregg has shared the stage with such notable acts as Steve Martin, The Beach Boys, George Burns and Stephen Curtis Chapman. He has appeared at hundreds of college campuses, thousands of major corporate conventions, family festivals and events across the nation, and is Carnival Cruise Lines' Premier Headline Entertainer.     Greg P. Russell is an American re-recording mixer. He is a 16 time Academy Award nominated post-production sound mixer who has worked in the film industry for more than 40 years, contributing to over 235 feature films.[1] He received Oscar nominations for his work on Black Rain, The Rock, Con Air, Armageddon, The Mask of Zorro, The Patriot, Pearl Harbor, Spider-Man, Spider- Man 2, Memoirs of a Geisha, Apocalypto, Transformers 1, 2 & 3, Salt and Skyfall. Other nominations include 12 CAS awards, two BAFTA's and two Emmys, with a Daytime Emmy Award win in 1989.[2]
