David Reutimann (born March 2, 1970, in Zephyrhills, FL) is the driver the #10 Accel Construction Chevrolet part-time for Tommy Baldwin Racing in the NASCARSprint Cup Series and the #92 RBR Racing Cheverolt in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He is the son of Buzzie Reutimann, who made one NASCAR start in 1963.

Early career[]

Reutimann, a third-generation racer, began his racing career in dirt-track modifieds and late models before moving up to the Slim Jim All Pro Series in 1997. He was named Rookie of the Year, finishing in the top-ten eight times and had a fifth-place points finish. The next season, he dropped to seventh in points, but received the Sportsmanship award at season's end. After several years, Reutimann got his first three wins in 2002 and finished second in the overall championship

David Reutimann got his start in racing on the dirt tracks of Florida and eventually earned a spot on the Slim Jim Pro Series in 1997.  His first season he was named Rookie of the Year and posted eight top ten finishes.  The next season he earned the series Sportsmanship Award and eventually captured three wins in the 2002 season.  In 2002 he made his NASCAR Busch Series debut and went on to post 45 top ten finishes over nine years with one win at the 2007 Sam’s Town 250.  In 2004 he joined the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and became one of the top drivers on the circuit, earning Rookie of the Year honors during his first year.  He’d go on to and post 38 top ten finishes and win the 2005 Toyota Tundra 2000 from 2004 to 2012. In 2005 Reutimann got his start on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and became a solid performer on the track, winning the 2009 Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte and the 2010 LifeLock.com 400 in Chicago.  Since joining the Sprint Cup Series he has captured 26 top ten finishes and four poles i

Emil David Reutimann (born March 2, 1970) is an American professional stock car racing crew chief and former driver. A native of Zephyrhills, Florida, he has competed in the NASCARSprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, and Camping World Truck Series. In 2004, he won NASCAR Rookie of the Year honors in the Craftsman Truck Series. He is the son of Buzzie Reutimann.

He began his racing career in dirt-track modifieds and late models. In 1997, Reutimann moved into the NASCAR regional series before moving to the Busch Series in 2002. He moved up to the Sprint Cup Series in 2007, driving for Michael Waltrip Racing. Between the 2007 and 2011 Sprint Cup seasons, Reutimann recorded two wins, 26 top-tens, and four pole positions.

Personal life

Reutimann lives in Mooresville, North Carolina, with his wife Lisa and daughter Emilia. They are members of Berea Baptist Church in Mooresville.[1]
