Author Jane Fynes-Clinton’s Reviewed on Greg’s Wildlife website

Austin Macauley’s very talented author, Jane Fynes-Clinton’s got an amazing review for her remarkable book, A Wild Life; The Edwin Wiek Story on a YouTube channel Greg’s Wildlife on 5th March 2020. The author was highly appreciated for her well-described and well-written book about wildlife.

The book A Wild Life; The Edwin Wiek Story is a biography of a wildlife warrior Edwin Weik, who was running a fashion business but became an interrupter of illegitimate wildlife trafficking after a car accident. He is uncooperative, defiant and rude but he has done countless efforts to give so many rescued animals as close to wildlife as possible.

From past 30 years, Dr Jane Fynes-Clinton has been serving as a magazine and newspaper journalist. She takes lectures at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and currently serves as a news and current affairs commentator. Jane is a nature lover and loves vigorous debates with her loved ones.

A USC Journalism academic has combined her twin passions for writing stories and saving wildlife in the release of her first book, A Wild Life: The Edwin Wiek Story.

Lecturer, journalist and media commentator Dr Jane Stephens (nee Fynes-Clinton) said she was prompted to write the non-fiction account of Mr Wiek’s life after meeting him while volunteering at his wildlife rescue centre in Thailand.

“After a half a dozen trips to Thailand for interviews over 18 months, we had what I hope is a textured and honest biography of an extraordinary man,” she said of the 184-page paperback published by Austin Macauley.

Originally from Holland, Mr Wiek founded Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand and Asia’s largest multi-species rescue centre, fights illegal trafficking of wildlife, and is a government adviser on animal law reform.

Dr Stephens, who has been a journalist for more than 30 years and writes for News Corp Australia, said the book had two themes.
