Slimane is the professional name of French singer Slimane Nebchi.
He came to national attention through his participation in the televised talent shows Nouvelle Star in 2009, X Factor in 2011, Encore une chance in 2012 and in the second season of Je veux signer chez before winning the fifth season of The Voice: la plus belle voix in 2016. To date, he has released four studio albums, one EP and several singles, both as a main artist and a featured artist.
He was internally selected to represent his home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö with the song "Mon amour", where he had direct qualification for the final as a representative of a "Big Five" nation and finished in 4th place with 445 points.

Slimane Hoffman
Algerian politician
Slimane Hoffman was an Algerian politician and veteran who served in the FLN during the Algerian War and as the sixth wali of Algiers Province between 1970 and 1975. Hoffman was a prominent member of Houari Boumédiène's presidency.[1]
Biography
Hoffman was born in 1922 to a father in the French Foreign Legion and an Algerian mother.[2][3] He served in the French Army as a tank specialist in the 1950s.[3] While stationed in Germany, Hoffman and several other officers deserted their post to join the FLN.[3] In the FLN, Hoffman was sent to train FLN recruits and officers in Tunisia, and between 1960 and 1962 Hoffman served as Chief of Staff of the Algerian Ministry of Defense.[2] During that time, he also held several positions within the Algerian government.[2]
Following Algerian independence, Hoffman served as the commander of military intelligence under Houari Boumédiène until 1965.[4] Hoffman informed American intelligence on the condition of Boumed

Abderrezak Bouhara
Abderrezak Bouhara was an Algerian politician and veteran who served as the seventh wali of Algiers Province between 1975 and 1978, the Algerian Minister of Health between 1978 and 1982, and various military positions in embassies in Paris, Moscow, and Hanoi.
Biography
Bouhara was born in Collo, French Algeria in December 1934, first joining the FLN in 1955 and fighting under Houari Boumédiène.[1][2] He had left his final year at Ahmed Reda Houhou High School in Constantine to join the FLN.[3] He first served as a political commissioner in the FLN, and then as the head of the 39th Battalion in eastern Algeria.[3] Bouhara then underwent military training at Homs Military Academy in Syria, graduating as valedictorian.[3] He then received a degree in military sciences from the Egyptian Military Academy in Cairo.[3]
Bouhara then helped train Algerian soldiers in Tunisia, and was one of the first officers of the FLN to re-enter the country just before Algerian independence in 1962.[2
